About Rust Combat Log Parser

The Mission

Rust is a brutal game where every bullet counts. When you lose a fight, you want to know exactly why. Was it lag? Did you hit your shots? How much damage did you actually deal?

The in-game combatlog command provides this data, but it's a wall of text that's hard to read in the heat of the moment.

Rust Combat Log Parser was built to solve this problem. It takes that raw, unreadable text and turns it into a clean, easy-to-read table — so you can see exactly what happened in any fight.

What It Does

From a wall of console text, the parser reconstructs the whole engagement:

  • Damage dealt and received, grouped by player
  • Hit locations, weapon and ammo used, and engagement distance
  • Accuracy and health changes for every exchange
  • Steam names and avatars, so numbered players become real opponents
  • Filters by player, weapon and time — plus shareable links and image export
